About the Job
As an Aluminum Hurricane Shutter Fabricator, you will be responsible for the production, assembly, and installation preparation of custom aluminum shutters. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and assemble aluminum components according to specifications.
- Operate machinery such as saws, drills, and presses.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
- Assist with loading/unloading materials and preparing orders for delivery or installation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in metal fabrication or construction preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
- Familiarity with power tools and shop equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
